A Classic stamp set

This may be an older set but it is definitely a classic for masculine cards. It absolutely Rocks! I loved creating this simple card using this "geared up" set. 

This card was for an incredibly generous and caring man who drove several 6-9 year olds in his beautiful Corvette!!!  I made this as a thank you for making our day so special.

Destination Graduation!

When I'm not stamping or krafting I am a highschool teacher. I used to teach drama but I'm moving onto new things!!! 

As a highschool teacher I have a TA/homeroom of 23 students. I have been with these students through most of 3 years and I have been there for the good times and the bad. Every graduation year I make my graduates something to let them know how proud I am of them.  This year was different, I was not able to attend their graduation but I still want them to know how proud I am of them. 

Today I am krafting away so I can mail them all to my kids. 

I'm so proud of them!!!

Team Meetings

One part of belonging to the stampin'up family I love the most is the people I have met. There are so so so many great people invoked in stampin'up and it is literally a family.   Every month we have a team meeting where we usually get to see each other, be worth each other, create together, laugh together and learn together. My upline Rose Marie Coleman hosts these meetings and I truly learn so much and leave inspired everytime! 

We always create something new or have a creative challenge at these meetings so I've posted what I made below!

Playing with World of Good

Today, while trying not to freak out at my entire family, I decided to lock myself away in my kraftorium!!! 

I picked up the site one been working on and just started to create! I love how I feel after I have created something and I love how focused my brain feels while it's creating something. 

This is what I created using the new set World of Good from there new catalogue going live tomorrow!!!

I've been trying to get time everyday to create one thing. With three boys, two dogs and a husband this can prove to be difficult sometimes. However, today we had a team meeting and this is what we made! It was a super easy card and I will be demonstrating how to make it on my YouTube channel!!! 

Making Bookmarks

I love to give a little gift showcasing the new in-colours with my catalogue mailouts. So, I designed a bookmarks using the scrappy strip technique from Bruno Bertucci!

Mother's Day Success!!!

Who says you need to buy gifts?

I am super vulnerable now after being diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism so I did not go shopping.  I was going to order in-line and then I remembered my mom loves Poppies, so I used my puppies paper to make her some home decor! 

The best thing about stampin' ups' designer series paper is they lost all the colors that match with it and they match perfectly! 

I used three Painted Poppies stamp set and dies and accent colors of granny Apple Green, blackberry bliss, poppy parade and rich razzleberry. 

This put a great big smile on her face and was better than any gift I could've purchased! 

With Father's Day coming up I have a few ideas ☺️

More Mother's Day goodness!

Still creating Mother's Day Kards because they are needed!!! Mothering is the hardest job I have ever had and I'm a Drama teacher with ADD! It is a thankless job. You are always bring yelled at, having body fluids project onto you, blamed, and of course loved. It is important to shower our Mothers with all of the love we can on this very special day coming up. You can buy a card but your mom will appreciate it more of you make her one!

Mother's Day approaches

I love love love creating special cards for the superwomen in our lives! My mom has been there through thick and thin.  She had been there to dry my years and to celebrate life's milestones. Now, being a mother of three I understand all of the sacrifices she has made. Between all of the time and love she poured into our dinners and the strength she mustered up to get us through difficult times she is, and will always be, my hero.

This is my favourite/worst time of the year.  The Stampin'up annual catalogue is coming to a close and as such things are retiring.  All of the Designer series paper is leaving and so are many stampsets, bundles, punches, ribbons and embellishments!

So far I have finished 45 and given 20 to the a labour and delivery nurses! They are great and totally take the pressure off the ears from the masks. I'm so excited to drop these off to paramedic HQ but if you know someone who could use one of these let me know ☺️

This weekend I went through some things and long story short it ended in an ambulance ride. I'm ok. I have a pulmonary embolism but I am on meds and will get better. During my trip I asked thee paramedics what they need during this crazy time and after some discussion I discovered that they need relief from the masks they wear all day, everyday. So, I remember seeing nurses and posts about wearing a band with buttons on the back so that the mall attaches to that and not their ears. So, I got to sewing and have sewn over 100 and will drop them off to EMS Hedda quarters by Friday. 

Krafting for Kindness is the best kind of krafting!
